What Is the Wellness Program?

The Wellness Program is a body-led, trauma-aware offering designed to support nervous system repair, emotional clarity, and embodied resilience.

Through four integrative paths—Energy Work, The Somatic Flow Method, Restorative Mobility, and Reflective Repatterning—you’ll find practical, grounded ways to return to yourself.
Not through force. Not through performance. But through presence.

Energy Work

A path to somatic release, energetic coherence, and nervous system regulation—becoming a steadier, more responsive conduit for energy. Each practice refines your internal architecture, helping your energy flow with clarity, resilience, and ease.

We offer two formats:

Personal Qigong Practice

Lineage-rooted forms for self-regulation, energetic clarity, and body-based refinement.

These forms are not performative—they’re preparatory.
Each one helps restore flow, build pliability, and strengthen internal rhythm—without pushing or bracing.

Core Practices Include:

Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocades)
Foundational Breath-Qi Harmony & Meridian Clarity

  • Harmonizes breath with motion
  • Regulates meridian pathways
  • Supports overall vitality and sensory reset
Ideal for beginners or anyone seeking a gentle, rhythmic way to reconnect with their body.

Shi Jin Jing (Ten Tendon Exercises)
Tendon Activation, Fascia Renewal, Vibrational Flow

  • Stimulates fascia and tendons to enhance Qi flow
  • Builds vibrational awareness and tissue resilience
  • Prepares the system for deeper energetic work

Han Yang Ru Yi Gong: The Nine Steps of Yi Jin (Shaolin Stretching)
Preparatory Sequence for Energy Body & Grounding

  • Activates fascia and meridians for flow and flexibility
  • Supports emotional recovery and energetic clearing
  • Especially helpful for clients returning from collapse, burnout, or rigidity

Iron Shirt (Chakra + Microcosmic Orbit Integration)

We Might Be Giants

Advanced Practice for Energy Transmutation

  • Aligns chakras through breath and postural integrity
  • Activates the microcosmic orbit for energetic circulation
  • Develops the body’s capacity to transmute and refine energy
This is a high-discipline, high-integration practice for those with an established energetic foundation.

Practitioner-Guided Energy Healing

Subtle body work rooted in Hermetic principles and medical Qigong.

In this deeply receptive modality, clients are supported through hands-on or field-based energy work.
The practice is intuitive yet structured—designed to unwind energetic congestion and restore systemic flow.

Clients often experience:

  • Chakra and meridian balance
  • Nervous system reset and somatic softening
  • A quiet return to energetic and emotional coherence

“While some may relate this to Reiki, this approach is rooted in applied Qigong and Hermetic cultivation—an intentional art of structure, rhythm, and resonance.”

The Somatic Flow Method

A nervous-system-first practice for gentle re-entry into presence and regulation.

Using breath, subtle movement, sound, and sensory tracking, this method helps re-pattern the nervous system from states of freeze, dissociation, or overwhelm.

It doesn’t require verbal processing or performance. Just a willingness to begin—exactly where you are.

What It Supports:

  • Nervous system dysregulation: Guides clients out of chronic freeze, shutdown, or overdrive through body-led pacing
  • Disconnection from the body: Rebuilds felt sense and interoception with breath, sound, and subtle movement
  • Emotional overwhelm: Offers down-regulation without cognitive effort or verbalization
  • Burnout or exhaustion: Provides a restorative entry point when higher-output practices feel inaccessible
  • Chronic tension or bracing: Softens holding patterns through rhythmic breath and micro-movement
  • Hypervigilance or anxiety: Anchors attention and cultivates a sense of internal safety
  • Restlessness or lack of stillness: Introduces calm through layered, sensory-based practices—not forced silence

Restorative Mobility

A gentle, hands-on approach to relieving joint pain, rebalancing muscle tension, and helping your body move with ease again.

Most people come to this work because they’re in pain—often caused by the body falling out of balance.
One muscle group becomes tight and overworked. Its opposite weakens or under-activates.
This dynamic pulls on your joints, creates tension, and leaves you feeling stuck, sore, or unstable.

Restorative Mobility addresses these patterns with care—not by forcing stretch or pushing performance, but by inviting the body back into alignment through safe, sensory-informed movement.

What It Supports:

  • Joint pain and postural dysfunction: Helps restore balance between muscle groups so your joints stop bearing the burden
  • Chronic tension and guarding: Gently unwinds protective holding patterns, especially in the hips, spine, and shoulders
  • Movement that feels “off” or painful: Re-educates your system to move with coordination, not compensation
  • Somatic disconnection: Rebuilds trust and awareness in the body—without pressure to perform or explain

How We Work:

  • Manual Release Work: Uses hands-on pressure and percussion tools to soften dense tissue and reduce restriction — not by forcing change, but by helping the body remember ease.
  • Assisted Stretching: Supports healthy length-tension balance through grounded, breath-led holds
  • Nervous System Integration: Breath, visualization, and co-regulation help the body release tension safely and sustainably

This is where pain relief meets presence.
You don’t have to push through. You just have to begin—gently, and with support.

Reflective Repatterning

A grounded, body-aware practice for exploring the emotional patterns and internal narratives that shape how you feel, move, and relate.

This isn’t about fixing your thoughts.
It’s about listening—gently, curiously—to the deeper rhythms beneath them.
Through presence—not pressure.

Reflective Repatterning blends guided journaling, CBT-informed dialogue, and somatic inquiry to help you make sense of what’s surfacing—without needing to explain it all.

What It Supports:

  • Emotional stuckness, reactivity, or shutdown
  • Inner conflict between who you are and who you think you “should” be
  • Self-criticism, shame, or unresolved emotional loops
  • Integration after movement or stress release
  • High-functioning, self-aware individuals who still feel off—despite all the insight

How We Work:

  • Integration Work: Brings awareness to internal parts or patterns that feel hidden, protected, or misjudged
  • Guided Journaling: Uses structured or intuitive prompts to externalize experience and deepen clarity
  • CBT-Informed Dialogue: Gently reframes beliefs from a place of regulation—not override
  • Somatic Inquiry & Presence-Based Coaching: Slows things down—so insight can land in the body, not just the mind

What It Cultivates:

  • Narrative clarity: Seeing your story not as a problem—but as something to understand
  • Emotional regulation: Feeling without spiraling
  • Somatic trust: Insight that lives in the body, not just the brain
  • Self-leadership: Responding from a grounded place—not reacting from old wounds

This is a quiet kind of transformation. Sometimes healing sounds like silence. Sometimes it looks like asking a different question—or taking a deeper breath. You don’t have to perform clarity. You just need a space where it can emerge.

Who This Is For

This work is for people ready to reconnect with their body—not just manage symptoms or push through the pain. It’s especially supportive for:

High performers who carry stress quietly
You show up and get it done—but your body feels tense, depleted, or far away.
You’ve worked on your mindset, but your system still holds the charge.

Givers and caregivers who feel emotionally threadbare
You’re always there for others—but space for yourself feels hard to claim.
This is where you can begin to restore—gently, steadily, and on your terms.

Sensitive, self-aware individuals who feel stuck in their body
You’ve explored the tools, tried the methods—but something still isn’t landing.
You don’t need more information. You need a space that listens to your system.

People emerging from burnout, freeze, or emotional fatigue
You’re not broken—you’re just tired. This is a place to begin again, with care.

Anyone ready to feel more whole, more regulated, and more at home in their body
You’re not here to perform healing. You’re here to experience it—quietly, honestly, and at your own pace.

better balance both physically, and…I feel balanced mentally as well

Over the last month, I have been working with Coach Dan to help me work on some fitness goals. I needed help with lower back pain and tightness and I wanted to work on exercises that would target my core while also helping me lose a little weight. The exercises that Dan put together for me have given me some early results and I couldn’t be happier with the program that Dan put together for me. Dan continued to meet my needs while changing the program up to provide variety while also adjusting the difficulty and duration of the exercises as I progressed. I have noticed less back pain and my core strength has improved. I feel like I have better balance both physically, and with the meditation added to the program, I feel balanced mentally as well. I have enjoyed my time working with Dan and I am satisfied with the results I have seen and felt.

Working with Dan is working with a partner who wants to ensure your body moves in a healthy and fully functional way. Dan has deep knowledge of how bodies are supposed to work and the many ways they can get off course, from injuries to energy blockage, and will help you work through whatever is currently hindering your progress. When I injured my knee, he worked with me to develop a healing and strengthening program specific to my injury, and had me back on my board in weeks! I highly recommend working with Dan, and letting his knowledge enrich your body and mind.

has set my mind at ease in my daily life

I’ve been practicing Qigong for about a year and although I’m still evolving in this practice, Qigong has improved my well-being and has set my mind at ease in my daily life. I am pretty grounded and straightforward in the things I do, but I am learning to introduce the water element into my daily life. The water energy symbolizes emotional connections and transformations through my social interactions with others. This allows me to experience growth, personal development, and navigating my emotional challenges through my relationships or communication with people.

Highly recommended

My session with Dan was very educational as well as very tailored to my needs since I am one to work one job too many so physical health as well as mental health was much needed to be tuned up. I was able to learned a variety of stretches as well as mini workout. Since I’m constantly running from one job to another, Dan was able to show me how to squeeze in a few full body workout moves that I can do if I had about 5-10 mins to spare through out my day and it also targeted areas that I needed to strengthen. Stretches! Definitely my favorite part of our session. Not only did Dan help me realize how beneficially it is to stretch but he also points out which muscle group it was and which areas of my body that I am stretching. I tend to have a lot of back, neck, and shoulder pain/problem but within our session I was able to feel loosen up and rejuvenated. Highly recommended, he’s a great guy and is willing to your concerns. The fact that he is willing focus on targeted areas, I don’t feel like I am wasting my time/money on other things that isn’t troubling me.

I feel healthier, lighter, more secure in myself

I found Dan through his expertise in martial arts, but I later discovered his multiple modalities (energy healing, circuit training, confidence building and other things) through our sessions. It’s been a few months now of working with him. I feel healthier, lighter, more secure in myself, more knowledgable in Wing Chun, and generally more in tune and grounded. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor. He is very stoic, patient, and willing to shape a structure with you for your healing journey.

Dan really knows his stuff

All I have to say is that Dan really knows his stuff when it comes to stretching and foam rolling certain muscle groups and making sure he provides you with the tools and know how to do it at home as well! Love the fact that he also focuses on what you want out of the session and is very flexible with his schedule. I definitely would recommend Dan for anyone dealing with tight and sore muscle whether it be your legs, back, shoulders, hips.

Joseph Ramaekers

very attuned to my response

Dan was very attuned to my response to the meditation and moves being correct and effective. He gave me the time and attention for good results which are appreciated.

Rebecca T

I highly recommend Dan. He is very knowledgeable and listens carefully to your needs in order to design a session that addresses your specific needs.

I didn’t know what an amazing trainer was until I started training with Dan

He is a great trainer / coach. He is very patient and he’s helped me grow in a number of ways aside from training and helping me become better at kickboxing. We’ve done really great strength training, cardio, meditation, mindfulness techniques, and it’s been really great. I’ve had some good trainers over the years, but I didn’t know what an amazing trainer was until I started training with Dan, and I highly recommend starting with him and seeing for yourself in how he can improve you and your life.

You will not regret joining his program!

Working with Dan has been a life changing experience. He is able to get to the root cause of disfunction in the body, and apply effective measures to address is. His knowledge about the inner workings and functions of the body is boundless, as is his passion for helping others. He is pleasant to be around and to work with, you will likely find yourself becoming friends with him as I have. You will not regret joining his program!
