We upgraded to our membership at Lightening Hands from two 4-day punch cards to Dynasty Pass. My partner and I had a great session last night that focused on energy drills.
I had noticed that when I am in the inside position, I tend to raise my left elbow up, which then put me in a vulnerable position. Sifu said that I need to bring my elbow down instead of keeping myself exposed. It occurred to me that the reaction comes out of Taming the Tiger, and that beginning move ends with a downward movement that controls while protecting the sides. I would like to test this out.
